In our new video series, family law attorney Jim Siemens explores what it’s like to seek out separation and divorce — demystifying the process and shedding light on a subject that’s often kept out of public view.

In his first video, Jim discusses initial consultations and what clients can expect from their first visit.

“Frequently, I see clients come to me, and they have been in marriages that are not good for them,” Jim explains in the video. “You can see the physical stress that they’re under. You hear the emotionality. You see them struggle with anxiety and depression, and I think that it’s a part of my job to recognize those things and to lift people up where I can.”
