Siemens Family Law Group COVID-19 update
Dear Siemens Family Law Group Clients and Friends,
We are writing to you with some Firm updates related to COVID-19. We want you to know that we intend to continue to conduct business as usual during this crisis using the best practices known to us.
We will remain available to you and continue to do good work, and to do that, we must make some adjustments in our processes to keep you, our staff, and our community safe.
For the foreseeable future, we ask that you do not visit the office without an appointment. We expect all visitors to the office to be by appointment only. If you have a question, need advice on a matter, or wish to schedule an appointment, please reach out by phone or email.
We understand many of you may be at high risk, may be at home with children out of school, or may be experiencing similar disruptions which may make it difficult for you to keep your appointments. To hold an appointment by video conference or phone, call our office at 828-201-2390 and we will schedule a remote conference.
We encourage people to use our secure online payment page to make payments: https://secure.lawpay.com/pages/siemens-family-law-group/operating. We will be available by phone to assist with online payments, or to process credit card payments over the phone.
The Chief Justice has ordered that local courts postpone most cases in district and superior court for at least 30 days, effective March 16th. That memo can be found here. If you have questions about how this order may affect your case, please do not hesitate to ask.
We thank you for your continued trust in the Firm, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping keep each other safe during this difficult time. We will continue to work with you through this time and we will remain available to you should you have additional questions or concerns.
As always, you can continue to reach us by phone and by email, request a consultation online, make payments online, and find helpful resources on our website and Family Law Blog.
